My work

Skew | Editorial content

Skew is a brand extension studio. They work with brands as diverse as The British Museum and Ubisoft to help them reach new audiences and drive new revenue with their IP.

I work with Skew on their blog content, as well as supporting them with their wider editorial output across events, white papers etc.

Book a Space | Verbal identity and website copy

Book a Space is a SaaS startup that makes it easier for venues with meeting, event, and co-working spaces to get those spaces booked.

I helped them formalise their brand voice, and wrote new copy for all their key pages, making them clear, persuasive, and search-friendly.

Idea Tactics

A creative card deck. Authored by me, published by Pip Decks.

Over 10,000 copies sold worldwide.

Used by organisations including Nike, Lego, and the UK government’s Cabinet Office.

JCT600 | Verbal identity and brand guidelines

I co-led a brand strategy project for JCT600, a car retailer founded in 1946.

The aim was to capture what was already distinctive and true about the business, and translate that into clear language and personality principles. I created detailed guidelines and ran workshops to embed them with their in-house brand and content execs.

Alongside this work, I created their new tagline:
Car buying at your pace“.

JCT600 | Digital ads

Concepts, creative direction and copy for display banners and social ads.

JCT600 | Brand videos

Concepts, creative direction, storyboarding, and voiceover scripts.

LightSpeed Broadband | Website copy

On-page content design and copy with bags of personality and local flavour.

Bentley | Editorial content

I wrote and edited several posts for the Bentley Collection blog and interviewed Bentley’s Design Director Stefan Sielaff.

Bayer | FieldMate app

The earlier version of this app was called ‘Bayer Agronomy Tool’. I gave it a new name, and crafted the onboarding copy and core in-app UX copy. I also wrote marketing and app store copy.

JCT600 | Car Boot Carnage game

I led on the concept and creative direction, wrote the in-game copy, and crafted the name.
